Rauris Valley
On account of its many and varied treasures, Rauris Valley is also often called the "secret jewel" of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Gold mining in times past, textile trading in Seidlwinkl Valley and our mineral treasures are what have characterised the region and many of the excursion destinations are dedicated to these themes.
Natural highlights like the resettlement of the bearded vulture in Kruml Valley in Rauris and the tremendous beautiful features of Rauris‘s primeval forest, the Rauriser UrQuell in Hüttwinkl Valley and the lush Alpine pastures make Rauris Valley an exciting realm of adventure for every visitor.
Thanks to a careful handling of nature, tradition and values, in Rauris Valley we have preserved what we regard as genuine and good. Living in Rauris Valley we place a great deal of emphasis upon hospitality, tradition and sustainable tourism and therefore offer you a unique holiday experience.
