Hochalm bird of prey centre
The bird of prey centre at the mountain station for the Hochalm gondola is a real experience. Professional falconers tell you everything there is to know about birds of prey and you get to see owls, falcons and eagles up close.
Kitzlochklamm
During a 2 hour hike along the banks of the river, on wooden bridges and in the shades of the mighty cliff-faces you get to explore the eroded limestone rocks and the impressive limestone caves.
Kolm Saigurn
In summer there are lots of hiking trails which take you to the viewing point on the summit of the mountain. In winter you can speed down into the valley via the toboggan run or set yourself a challenge of ice climbing in the Ice Arena.
Klammstein Castle – a knights’ castle
Be indulged with a ‚snack‘ by the open fire in the cosy tavern in the castle or enjoy a guided tour through the museum with different exhibitions. Events and a variety of exhibits await you.
